1. Agreement
By using MyWork, you agree to these Terms of Service. Do not use the platform if you do not agree to these terms.
2. Eligibility and accounts
You must be at least 18 years old, provide accurate account information, keep your account secure and not impersonate another person. You may not use MyWork where prohibited by applicable law.
3. What MyWork does
MyWork is a platform that connects clients and freelancers. MyWork is not the employer of its users and is not a party to agreements users make with each other. MyWork currently does not process payments between clients and freelancers.
4. User responsibilities
You are responsible for your profile, posts, portfolio, projects, messages, reviews and other content. You must comply with applicable laws and provide accurate information about services you offer or request.
5. Prohibited use
Prohibited activities include fraud, scams, spam, harassment, threats, discrimination, illegal services or goods, misuse of personal data, infringement of intellectual property and attempts to compromise the security or operation of MyWork.
6. User-generated content and moderation
You retain your rights to content you create. Users can report inappropriate content or users and can block other users. Reports are reviewed as soon as reasonably possible, with urgent safety risks prioritised. MyWork may remove content or restrict, suspend or terminate accounts where necessary to enforce rules, safety or applicable law.
7. Projects and payments
Users make their own arrangements regarding price, performance, quality, taxes and payment for work. MyWork does not verify or guarantee performance of agreements between users and currently does not process payments between clients and freelancers.
8. Liability
MyWork provides a digital platform for contact between users and cannot guarantee the quality, safety or performance of work carried out by users. To the extent permitted by applicable law, MyWork is not liable for indirect loss arising from agreements or disputes between users. Statutory rights that cannot lawfully be excluded remain unaffected.
9. Privacy
Processing of personal data is described in the MyWork Privacy Policy.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by Belgian law, subject to mandatory consumer-protection and jurisdiction rules that may apply to a user.
